Loch Lochy
The water immediately below Laggan Locks is actually known as Ceann Loch where there are good tying up facilities. Pressing on, the open expanse of Loch Lochy is soon reached and the scenery becomes even more dramatic.

Towards the end of the loch, there languishes the hulk of an old wooden boat:-
