Loch Lochy
The water immediately below Laggan Locks is actually known as Ceann Loch where there are good tying up facilities. Pressing on, the open expanse of Loch Lochy is soon reached and the scenery becomes even more dramatic.

The end of the loch (and the navigable channel) is marked by a lighthouse - the canal and Gairlochy locks are to the right:-
